Keeps properties looking tidier at same time reduces fire risks. There are a lot of larger properties that can not burn .

Please rethink this decision. Bushfire preparation is really important

Huge concern for the environmental damage possibly caused by increased dumping of green waste and noxious weeds in the bush / roadsides. Please do not let this happen. Green waste disposal at no cost for residents is vital for so many reasons.

I think it’s environmentally irresponsible not to provide a free and controlled area for green waste disposal. Making people pay will only lead to dumping and burning off in areas where it’s totally inappropriate. There should be leadership on these issues within the municipality, the messaging on this to residents is “it’s too hard” which is completely wrong, especially in this area.

Landcare struggles to maintain weedy areas due to dumping of garden waste. This will make it so much worse.

Please keep Green wise free. We love our green bin but there is a lot that we can’t fit in it when we have to prune. We would love it if you would listen to your rate payers as I am one. Thank you.

Please think hard about putting more monetary pressure on residents who are already struggling to make ends meet

Please keep this service free! We will have dumping of green waste down our street all of the time if this is charged

We don’t have hardware or tip vouchers included with our rates like many other Councils. Council need to reconsider this decision and think about the rural area it provides for.

More reasons for people to dump their rubbish on the road side.

Charging for green waste will encourage illegal dumping, which will contribute to bushfire risk. It's a silly decision to change this service

Council representatives take note. This is a very poor decision. Budget should be on open display for the public to see what else is going on.

Free green waste disposal should be covered in our rates. We're in a cost-of-living crisis and the council needs to put the safety in our bushfire-prone region above revenue generation.

Absolutely essential that the free service is maintained!

Keep green waste free. People will just dump their green waste anywhere causing a fire hazard, then council will have to clean it up.

I think the Council is becoming greedy.

With the price of everything else going up this is ridiculous and will only force people to dump their green waste and cause fire hazards
