Ginger's in Purnell has been a huge help both when I'm in a time crunch and need to grab lunch, or if I'm exhausted and need a snack. Removing food service from Purnell would be a huge oversight of student needs.

The majority of the academic buildings on campus have dining options inside. This is a selling point for dining services on-campus to students that are absored in their work and want to eat well. Ginger's is great for a snack during break while you're in a long 3 hour studio class, for a bite to eat before the day gets started, or hearty soup, salad, or pasta at lunch. Without Ginger's, students seeking this same convenience will end up buying junk food at Entropy. Ginger's is also useful because it doesn't have the same long lines Taza D'Oro, Entropy, or other CUC options have. I can't imagine what office space could be more useful than the service Ginger's provides.

Small coffee. Every time I show up. I don't even have to say anything, Sandy just knows me. Getting rid of that would be getting rid of a piece of my soul (and my much needed caffeine source).

Sandy has saved my hungry stomach many many time. I would be pretty upset and sad if she and Ginger's left the building!

Ginger's has SAVED my life on one too many occasions. I would prefer for it to still be there for me. As I will always be there for it.

Allow us school of drama kids to fulfill our goal of actually never leaving the building by providing a food source within it. If not, we will reclaim the CFA building, like a plague.

Ginger's is a staple of Purnell life! Not having it would be a HUGE inconvenience to the School of Drama community. Particularly when we have 10 minutes between classes or when the weather is too harsh to go outside.

Gingers is a nice place situated in a focal point of Purnell, allowing students to get food without the hassle of having to travel to another building between classes. I feel that its removal would negatively impact many students.

Sandy's coffee kept me awake for Rigging stagecraft, and I have no doubt that without that jolt of caffeine to fend off my 3pm slump, my grade would have suffered, and Sean West would have thought less of me as a person.

Eating at Gingers is part of my daily routine here at Purnell and has contributed to my success here at Carnegie Mellon. With so much going on, it is sometimes difficult to find time to grab food elsewhere. Gingers being readily available and so easy to access has made it an absolute neccessity to my lifestyle. Gingers allows me to spend more time on my work here as a student and ultimately has helped me in reaching my goals and becoming the best actor I can be.
