I/We, the undersigned, ask the Gastonia City Council to deny a commercial rezoning request to Pearson Properties for the Lineberger property along the south side of Franklin Boulevard across from Franklin Square (tax ID # 223334). I/we further ask that the City work with landowners to purchase this property and secure it and the surrounding City buffer lands as permanent greenspace - for the future enjoyment of residents and visitors, and to aid in the lessening of flooding of residential and commercial neighbors.
