The food trucks are a nice change from a site down restaurant

Fuquay needs to focus on more pressing issues like traffic, bringing a broader job market to the town, and being able to secure enough sewage, utilities to support new housing developments, helping to promote growth. Don't pick on small business owners. Tend to your own garden first.

As the food truck business continues to grow, so do other businesses. People seek out food trucks and will travel to their locations. We need to keep up with the times - Fuquay-Varina has spent a lot time and money to revitalize the downtown areas - let's not take a step backwards and ignore this opportunity, but rather, imagine a food truck rodeo - the people it will bring to the downtown areas who will shop out local retail venues, generating more business as well as putting revenue into the city with vendor fees. What a great opportunity for our small town to stay up to date. We've come so far - let's not go backwards now by not allowing or restricting the food trucks.

Gives me a reason to go visit downtown! I have no problem with pizza and pasta but I prefer to eat something else on a night out with friends or my spouse. I am NOT going to Raleigh for any restaurant or food trucks, so please let me try some and broaden my horizons right here in town!

Keep the food trucks downtown! They provide an alternative food experience to sit-down restaurants and FV can accommodate both!

Please allow Food Truck businesses in Fuquay Varina. It is a national trend that some of our businesses are already utilizing in order to enhance or expand their customer base no matter what their location allows them to offer.

Food trucks act as incentives to continue to visit local businesses. In addition, Fuquay's local fare is limited to big chains and smaller independent restaurants, most of which keep shorter hours than the establishments downtown that serve alcohol. The town has exploded with people over the past six years, and it's important to encourage those people to stay within town limits, rather than have them venture to Cary/Apex/Garner/Raleigh to gain diversity in their meals and evenings out.
