I believe the presence of food trucks helps our town, and that banning them would have the opposite effect of what's intended. Please consider the loyal followers most of these food trucks have, which increases the business they bring to our town. We will surely lose the patronage of many should this ban go into effect, which will affect the livelihood of our towns small business owners. Bad idea. Don't do it.

Why NOT allow food trucks? Because of competition? When has competition ever been a bad thing? If a business is offering the goods and services people want, they shouldn't have anything to worry about.

Food trucks are a new way of doing business. Holly Springs does a great big thing with it's downtown Food Truck rally - and they were packed. Why not embrace it instead of trying to get rid of the business? There are places in downtown to safely park them without taking away much parking!

People would think its insane if food trucks tried to ban restaurants. Why are politicians even considering one small business over a another? Food Trucks are held to a higher standard than brick and mortar yet we are treated as though we are some how sub standard.

We enjoy the food trucks in downtown FV! It is a draw to bring us into town, patronizing local shops, other restaurants and the breweries - even with the miserable traffic flow. The more you take away from our town centers, the more you drive us to HS, Apex and Garner!

Food truck give variety to the offerings of fv. We still go to our wonderful restaurants, but food trucks make both downtowns a real draw to out of towners! Also breweries go with food trucks!!! If we want to be a brewery destination, we need food trucks.
