Please sign this petition against the Town of Fuquay's potential ban on food trucks in Downtown Fuquay-Varina. This petition will be presented to the Board of Commissioners.
Considering options for food delivery in the downtown area are limited, food trucks have been an important part of business for The Mill and Fainting Goat Brewing Company. Aside from that, food trucks are a great way to bring the community together and provide good eats during community functions and attract people from other towns to Fuquay, in turn bringing local businesses more attention. Nonetheless, it also helps to keep these food trucks in business!
Feel free to leave comments below regarding why you feel it is important to allow food trucks to continue to conduct business in the downtown area!
*Please continue to sign, comment and share. The next meeting is February 15th.

The momentum behind this effort has grown beyond my initial expectations. It is clear that many people value the role these food trucks play in the character of our downtown area. This level of engagement serves as a strong reminder that our community cares deeply about the local businesses that shape our daily lives.

Reaching five hundred signatures will provide a clear indication that our community values the diversity of dining options in our downtown area. I encourage you to pass this request along to neighbors so we arrive at our upcoming meeting with the strongest possible foundation.

Food Trucks enhance the businesses downtown. Not only are the food truck vendors part of our small, local, business economy but they work together with other small businesses downtown to create an attractive meet up spot for all ages.
Food truck give variety to the offerings of fv. We still go to our wonderful restaurants, but food trucks make both downtowns a real draw to out of towners! Also breweries go with food trucks!!! If we want to be a brewery destination, we need food trucks.
Food trucks enhance the brewery experience, support creative local businesses, and help patrons avoid paying outrageous delivery fees imposed by local restaurants. Simple economics support this petition, demand is present. Support supply!
We have a very limited selection of healthy food available for take out in Fuquay. Getting rid of food trucks will not make me go to the few restaurants we have in Fuquay. Getting rid of food trucks will just make me drive to raleigh for food and beer.

There are not enough local restaurant options in downtown F-V; the food trucks offer up another choice for residents and visitors to patron downtown businesses. All of the other Triangle towns allow food trucks...F-V needs to as well, especially as we grow!
