Our community of neighborhood fishermen rely on our cities to provide and maintain our offload docks. Without them YOU are forced to eat farmed fish, or MUCH higher priced wild fish because you have not connection to the working waterfronts. They will be forced to offload many many miles ways making the carbon footprint higher, cost of wild caught higher, and keeping fishermen away from their families longer. We need Seafood eaters to have our backs while we serve you your next catch.

Channel Islands Harbor has a very significant commercial fishing industry that operates year-long. It’s vibrant and growing and needs all the infrastructure support it can get.

Please protect our local fisherman. It’s already hard for people to get good jobs on our area! This is the back bone of our community!
