My Family loves father Thom! It has been a blessing having him at our parish and in my daughter's school. It would be so disappointing to lose such a great priest in such little time. In the little time that he's been at our perish/church he has made such a positive impact on us all.

Rarely have I been so moved by a priest as Father Thom. Rarely have I looked so much forward to going to mass with my family. Rarely have I seen such an important decision made without, apparently, consulting the rank-and-file. This decision needs to be considered for being reversed, or my family and our contributions and membership to SH will be considered for being reversed.

In these past few months of extreme change and transition at Sacred Heart, Fr. Thom has been a welcome addition! He is so welcoming during Mass which is what we need during times like these. He is also very well liked by the students at the school.

Fr. Thom, on first meeting me, asked me “how is your life?”. Without knowing me, he showed concern and understanding than our for pastor did in over 10 years.

It is imperative that our leaders, namely Bishop Zubik, listen to the voices of those in their community. Father Thom is a breath of fresh air in our parish, his kindness and inclusivity have been remarkable.

I am a student at Sacred Heart, and he makes us feel as if he cares about each and every one of us. I DON’T want to see him go!

Fr. Thom has fast become a welcome addition to our church after many of us were dreading the transition to a new priest. He is friendly, likeable and approachable. My children like him very much. Please allow him to continue on.

I am not a parish member but have been teaching at SHES for many years. Please reconsider. For Thom has been a bright spot in these dark times.

I offer full support for Fr. Thom. For once could we please have a little transparency. What prompted the bishop to make this decision?

I am hopeful that the Bishop will hear from all members of the Church and reconsider his decision.

Fr. Thom baptized two infants at mass today and there smiles all over the church as he walked the babies up and down the aisle. Sacred Heart/St. Raphael's needs this personal touch and community-building!

I love Fr. Thom ‘s arrival and so do the students of Sacred Heart. This is confusing to me why he is leaving Sacred Heart when he just got acclimated. Please reconsider this strange change of events. Our school has gone through many transitions with Sr. Lynn retiring and Fr. Greco moving onward ~ with Fr. Thom arriving and now possibly leaving is just ludicrous! We need consistency and a feeling that all is good. This is not the way to reassure everyone involved that we are a united front.
