It is ridiculous for anywhere in Oklahoma to give in to this rhetoric. If it was causing a problem why are people still eating there. I hope they stand their ground. Someone has to be the first to stand up and say enough is enough.

I've been a patron since 1977, when it was just a tavern. I was served cold draft beer, and microwave sandwiches w/chips by Stan himself. And my two daughters (who are OSU grads as well) love Joe's. Leave this institution alone. Don't change a thing!

This has went beyond ridiculous. I've lived here for 38 yrs & until the BLM protests started No One ever brought up wanting the name changed saying it's racist, not that I can remember. The petition to get the name changed is racism at its finest. The people wanting the name changed have probably ate there dozens of times but now with the BLM movement and people trying to erase history and everything else they can come up with, it just blows your mind.
I believe you should stand up to this kind of harassment & not change the name of your business that has been around now for 45 yrs.
