Always ask the people involved - are any people who might be referred to as “Eskimos” —— are they offended? If yes, then bring this issue up for a reasoned debate to possibly make changes. But if this is being brought up just “because” ... everyone is offended by everything ... then it is premature to make changes to anything at all.
Truly, first find out if anyone is actually offended. If so, have a reasoned discussion and make a decision. Any change at all, at this time, if without reasoned discussion, is a knee-jerk reaction by a loud, small number of people. Let the large number of people, those who really care about this name, have their say. Anything less than that robs them of their voice.
