I want to Elsa to stay single, because it's not a bad thing for kids to learn that not everyone need or even want a love interest.

Frozen is the first Disney movie in a while not revolving around romance and I'd like for it to stay that way.

The movie Frozen, and the character Elsa in particular, mean so much to me. Because of this, I am strongly against the idea of giving Elsa a girlfriend in Frozen 2. I relate to Elsa more than any other character. I have always been different than my peers, and I was never the best at socializing with other people. Elsa’s struggles to accept herself and her ice magic showed me that it is ok to be different and that I should take pride in this instead of trying to fit in. I struggle with anxiety issues, and Elsa’s struggles to control her anxiety has been an inspiration to me, and she showed me that I too can control my anxieties. Her song “Let It Go” is basically my life anthem, and it has helped me deal with my anxiety issues. Making Elsa a lesbian would take all of this away from me, and the thought of it has caused me so much anxiety that it is negatively impacting my life. One of the reasons why I love Frozen so much is because it was about family love rather than romantic love. It was sisterly love that saved both sisters, not romantic love. Elsa remained single, yet she had her sister and was happy with her life. She showed that family is most important, and that life is not about romance. She showed the world that it is ok to be single and that you do not need romance to be happy. As both a big sister and a single woman, this message really resonates with me. Giving Elsa a girlfriend or a boyfriend would ruin this powerful message and promote the myth that single people are miserable. Giving her a girlfriend would also promote the myth that if a woman does not have a boyfriend then she must be a lesbian. Elsa is a role model of a strong independent woman who learns to accept herself and cares about her family. Giving Elsa a girlfriend in the sequel would ruin these aspects of the character that I and many other people love so much. Disney, please I am begging you, do not make Elsa a lesbian. Please keep her the strong independent woman that she is.

One great lesson that Elsa taught me was that you need to find the happiness within yourself before you can be in a relationship, regardless of age or sexuality. It's not always about what you are. It's who you are. Disney cannot alter that message for the sake of political correctness.

I believe that by keeping Elsa single teaches kids independence, and it protects them from a hideous belief. Interdependence should be taught in a correct way that allows children to follow the right path.

Elsa is too independent for a relationship. Her most notable character trait is her lone wolf attitude and I feel that giving her a romantic partner would destroy that charm of hers.

I agree. Lets see Elsa single. There are so many people that are hurt because they (think) that they need to be in a relationship to be happy. We get that pushed on us from everywhere and I hate it. It seems to be how Elsa is. I mean she seems so strong single.

People think disney princesses NEED to have a prince or princess. The stroy is revolved around elsa, a strong INDEPENDENT woman. Please don't change that. We dont need her to rely on some prince or princess

She needs to stay single. If Disney wants to make a gay princess, do not do it to a Queen that is already established, make a new character.
