Keep our Branch open

It's important for there to be a bank in Eastham. Not everyone uses Internet banking, there are many pensioners and people who can't afford computers and the internet in Eastham who need to bank in person.

Lib Dem Councillors, in Wirral South say 'We are calling on NatWest Bank and their owners RBS to listen to the weight of public opinion and call off this disastrous plan to close the branch.'
'We cannot have a situation where are nearest branch is either Portsunlight, (which is not on a bus route,) or Ellesmere Port, both of which are a good distance away.

"NatWest must think again!'

Given the negative coverage that the banking industry has had in recent years I hope that RBS will listen to the concerns raised by residents on this issue and make the changes needed to keep this important service in Eastham open.
