Was just talking about this possibility with my brother who uses this course quite frequently. Sorry to hear that my speculation might indeed become fact. I would hate to see this course go under.

Its too beautiful a course with way too much history to destroy just to put money in the owners pocket. It gets no traffic because the owners wouldnt maintain the infrastructure of the facility.

This is a nightmare - so many great memories have been had at the Golf Course. Tubing in the winter, golfing, fishing, hiking, The Sand Trap had amazing food and the bartenders were they very best. My best friend even had her wedding reception and wedding photos taken out there. KEEP THE GOLF COURSE

I've never golfed a day in my life, but I do walk Pearl Island and I would suggest to any and all to walk it all the way to the dam and see the beauty the course holds from a non golfer stand point. Go golfers!
