Janelle and Cody Debus have spent a long time, with this company, and with us in Colorado; building relationships, networking, teaching, and earning the respect of all their peers and community. These relationships and notoriety were developed over an extremely long period of time and with a lot of hard work involved. Unfortunately, now they have been asked to leave all of this behind and start this grueling process from scratch again.

You may have worked for Janelle when she was a manager... or maybe you were trained by her when she was in learning and development..... or maybe you know her from staffing you stores and conducting huddles around FAME?..... however you knew Janelle I can be sure of one thing, you are a better person because of it, and she is probably still your friend. I had the opportunity of knowing her in every role and I am confident I would not be where I am today without her support and dedication to us as her team and I'm sure many of you can sympathize with me. She has spent countless hours making herself a household name around Colorado and is one of the most respected people I have met in the company. Her positive outlook and cheery disposition make Colorado a brighter place and WF a happier place to work.

Her husband? Cody Debus, known to many as CoCo! Cody's light hearted attitude and sense of humor has probably had all of us laughing at some point in our careers. A hard working family man who keeps his priorities straight, even if it means moving away from his home to pursue a better future for his new family. His commitment to his work is only beaten by his commitment to his family. I am proud to say I know him, and in more ways than one can model his behaviors to make myself a better person. As my daughter would say " Coco Awesome!" and he most certainly is!!

Whether its because you know Cody, or Janelle, or maybe even their whole family, when news of their moving hit you I know you were sad and disappointed. Recently, the sale of their house fell through meaning they had to postpone the purchase of their new home in Minnesota. This means we have a few more weeks to try and keep this amazing family in our amazing state by persuading, nay BEGGING, those in charge to reconsider and find an alternative solution. From a business standpoint it does not make sense to relocate people that have spent their entire careers making a name for themselves and building a network of people in this state, to another state to start all over. Janelle and Cody are names we use daily, and for us to lose them would not only be heartbreaking but, it would also hurt our company as a whole.

We "the people", are asking that we find a solution that makes better business sense, impacts less people ( hundreds will be impacted with the moving of this family ), costs WF less money, puts its employees first, and ultimately keeps this family that does so much for us in Colorado. WE MUST FIGHT, not selfishly for ourselves, to keep people here we care about, but we fight for those who have yet to meet Janelle and Cody so that they may have the same chance we had of knowing this family.
