Keep Darrel Canada as UTA OSHA Outreach instructor

I have had the pleasure of attending several classes through UTA and I have to say that Darrel is by far the best instructor I have seen. I would attend any of his classes over anyone else.

In the fall of 2015 I attended an OSHA 5810 course taught by Darrel Canada. The outcome of the course far exceeded my expectations. The main reason for the positive outcome was the first hand experience and practical knowledge of the trainer. This course was by far the most beneficial course I have taken at any training facility, from any instructor.

I have known Darrell for about 8 years now. I have attended several of his training courses. He is an excellent instructor that is very knowledgeable about all subjects he teaches.

keep Darrel Canada as UTA instructor the Permian Basin ids very large and the expenses for such a quality of training is well worth it.

I have attended 7 trainings with UTA and Darrel Canada has been the best instructor. His knowledge, experience and professionalism are motivating.

Darrel Canada is an amazing instructor. I am not sure what the circumstances are but in any case, it'd be a shame to loose him as an outreach instructor for UTA. I have taken one of his courses, but am looking forward to taking several others. It would be a shame to see such a dedicated instructor leave and someone with less experience step up. Experience not only in teaching and how to connect with the students, but also from years of field experience. Darrel has passion for how he teaches. These days, sadly a lot of instructors do not. It's a job. They get paid for it, that's it.... Instead Darrel goes the extra mile to make sure that his students not only know the information, but have connected it personally to their line of work, job or most importantly, family. Don't let this instructor get away. He's extremely valuable not only to the students he teaches, and the industry he works in, but also to the UTA Outreach program. I personally will be one of the first to change my outreach program venue if this instructor is no longer available thru UTA.

I traveled to Alva Oklahoma from Abilene Texas to attend OSHA 510. He is a very experienced instructor and teaches with great knowledge

Darrel is by far one if not the best instructor I have ever had. I learned useful, valuable information because of his unique teaching style. He has a unique gift of teaching of an otherwise boring subject. Few process this ability and profound knowledge.

All; Mr. Canada has been a great asset to my training with UTA and in fact I prefer his classes if he is available. He is not only competent , he brings a crucial field experience to the classroom that surpasses most instructors level of understanding. Greetings, I have worked in healthcare for over 20 years as a nurse, 10 of that has been in teaching. In the past year, I have attended 4 OSHA classes for general industry with Darrel Canada. I'm new to this area and have benefited tremendously from Darrel's teaching. He gives his classes and students such great detail and attention to OSHA standards and job safety and is so passionate with his great wealth of knowledge. He makes sure every student in his class regardless of experience/knowledge his full attention and makes sure we leave with the best information and preparedness for teaching OSHA Safety. I feel so lucky to have had Darrel as an instructor and want to continue learning more. It would be a tragedy to let him go and pray that he is able to continue his mission of teaching others and saving lives!!

Darrel Canada has been the most knowledgeable instructor that I have had. He relates practical issues to the OSHA standards and shares stories of real events that are invaluable.

As many of my fellow classmates know, I am from OHIO and I fly to Oklahoma and Texas just to take Darrel's classes. His teaching style brings OSHA standards to life and his experience in the investigation process of deaths and injuries is remarkable. Every time I take one of his classes, I get more and more excited about safety and want to express what I have learned to others. Darrel takes something that can be very overwhelming to some people and makes it easy to understand. The time he takes with the class and the class discussions are very helpful. Words can not express how highly I think of Darrel Canada. Not only is he my friend, but he is also my go-to person when I have questions about the standards. UTA needs to realize that not only will this affect Darrel, but this also affects myself and other students who only wish to be instructed by Darrel. UTA needs to resolve this issue ASAP. Please keep forwarding this petition to those who have taken Darrel's class. It is imperative that we help rectify this situation.

Out of all the classes I've attended over the years Darrel by far was the best instructor I have ever had.

7 years ago, I moved into the safety industry, I had the privilege of meeting Darrel Canada one year into my employment in safety. I followed his advice, recommendations throughout the years in taking Osha courses to acquire CSHOs for my betterment of competency and qualifications. The entire time I have taken classes with UTA as well with Darrel Canada with his own safety company as well as him being an instructor for UTA. I have learned a significant amount of knowledge, gained experience thru time and his mentorship to me is priceless, such a tremendous asset to not only students but to all who come and experience his training. It is all because of Darrel Canada that I now have acquired a CSHO in General Industry, CSHO in Construction Industry and a SSH in Oil & Gas all thru UTA. These certifications and endorsements are highly regarded, also knowing UTA as the nation's number 1 OSHA Ed center gives me personally great credentials on my belt. It is because of people like Darrell Canada that thousands have been trained, continuing their pursuit into CSHOs, and already acquired. He is a vital and a positive asset to UTA or for any other training center thereof, I vouch personally and put my stamp of approval on Darrel Canada without a doubt, no questions asked. I plead for UTA to reconsider their thoughts and reestablish him to full 100% in all matters and issues regarding him to train, educate and care for all students while employed with UTA.

Awesome instructor

Darryl Canada's been my teacher for several classes. I believe he needs to continue being the Outreach instructor. He's very good at teaching his classes. Darrel cares about his students and the students really care about him. I took two classes with him that I had already taken with another instructor, I realy had not learn anything from that other instructor, I am very thankful that I took the classes with mr. Canada. I live in Michigan and I flew there just for the classes and I will do it again as long as Daryl Canada is teaching. I for one believe in their Darrel Canada

Outstanding instructor!

After completing my CSHO, Darrel was my favorite instructor. I looked to take other courses from him, but unfortunately they did not fit my schedule. I found myself comparing the other instructors to Darrel and was let down after each course. UTA will be making a huge mistake by letting Darrel go.

Darrel is an outstanding instructor with tons of great knowledge to share. His classes are taught so that all will understand weather it be a beginner or more experienced person. When I need to sign up for a course I look to see when he is teaching the course and sign up for it, even if it's months down the road or out of town, it is worth the wait and travel.
