Coronado Surfing Academy has been a wonderful asset to our community. The Hotel Del would be wise to invest more in our community and continue to honor successful local businesses instead of driving them out.

It's time that the Hotel Del stopped its parasitic relationship with our beloved community, and started actually trying to be a responsible and respectful member of it. It's time to start giving a little something back, or Coronado will lose the small town charm that makes it an attractive destination in the first place.

Shame on the Hotel Del for pushing out a long standing local business! Please rethink your decision. Take advice from a 1988 Coronado High graduate… always choose a ‘local’.

Stan and Lorton would have never let this happen on our beach, to keep this local and true to the town's precious surf culture is a must!

A historic Local business is what helps make the historic Hotel Del Coronado experience special, unique and inviting to visitors. It makes good business sense to keep Coronado Surfing Academy on site and to use its local history for marketing.

We have been using CSA for family and guests since 2014 and can wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone. Hopefully the Del will come to their senses and support this local business.
