Teev is Coronado surfing. A huge example of love for family and community.

Although I don’t surf I have often had visitors both stay at the Del and take surfing lessons there based on my recommendations. I am disgusted that the Del is turning its back on a local company. Apparently they don’t give a damn about our community! Find a way to do what’s right.

Hotel Del what a disgrace! Not sure what motivated this arrangement with Jamie O’Brien surfing experience. Hope you will see sooner then later what a poor business decision you have made.

I haven taken lessons with Teevan and the Coronado Surfing Academy. They are the best. This is unfair and not good for the local community.

I am disgusted to hear that Teevan McManus’ Coronado Surfing Academy is no longer teaching at the Del. Shame on the powers that be who made that decision. Bring Teevan back!!!

I was taught by Teevan personally and his tutelage went beyond surfing to include all local tourist attractions.

What an ignorant and disheartening decision by the Del’s big bosses. Coronado Surfing Academy is a staple in that town and the guests of the Del are now missing out on an authentic Coronado experience. Absolute BS. Signed, a pissed off Canadian

What about supporting the local economy? This present situation doesn’t make any sense. Very sad, to say the least.

Hotel Del should try to support local business. Coronado Surfing Academy started in 2005 and was granted HotelDel contract in March 2022.Sewage causing frequent beach closure made 29022 difficult. surf lson company has no ties to Coronado.

This is completely unacceptable. This company and its owner are providing and incredible experience and pushing them out will affect local families and the guest experience. DO NOT GO THROUGH WITH THIS.
