This is where I spent my high school days and this buliding holds some of my favorite memories . I just dont understand why this has to happen. Keep this school open for the kids in the community and for the tradition of a lion. For which I am at heart and always will be. Lets get over the hate toward each other and keep cordia going. We should be trying to help one anthore instead of tearing each other apart. For when or of u do close this school so many hearts and memories will be chrushed and my freinds I couldnt have the heart to do that so maybe think real strong before u make this decision . love cordia always and forever. I believe the knott county school board should reconsider closing the school. I went there the 4 years of high school. If I had it to do over again I wouldn't change a thing. It's like everyone is a big family there and the hole staff acully cares about your future. With thay being said I vote to keep the school open.

Closing Cordia would be a catastrophic mistake! Cordia is the quintessential example of a community school and one that is small enough to know each student personally and yet has the capability to prepare each and every student for whatever career track they choose. Also, the simple geography of the area would make it extremely difficult and costly to transport the students to other schools within the county. Please reconsider your plan for closing this VERY important school.

I’m a graduate of Cordia and I love this school. I received a quality education that prepared me for college and life in general. I also made lifelong friends. I wouldn’t trade my time at Cordia for anything in the world.

This was my home when I was going to school couldn't have asked for a better place to be a great group of family they always made u feel as there own. I say this school needs to stay open it should not be shut down and took from the kids that's been going since they was in preschool it's not far at all prayers for all who this is hurting

My twins went to Cordia from pre-school all the way until they graduated high-school. We loved it and they’re able to give a lot of one-on-one attention which is great because all children need that type of attention. Also, they love each student and do what they can to help in all situations cv

My niece is a senior this year and it would devastate her if she had to spend the last couple of months of her high school career in a different facility.

Cordia is a very special school to many. They help our kids more than any of those others school were Cordia is a small school. Moving the kids will devastate them. To many kids that's the only school they no. I say keep Cordia open.
