My wife graduated from this school and has had nothing but wonderful memories to share. The future children should have that opportunity too.

1998 Cordia High Shool graduate. My mother graduated from Cordia High School in 1965. My two children, one a freshman, the other in 6th grade. Neither have attended a different school other than Cordia. Very,very sad is an understatement!,,

I went to Cordia for 3 years and graduated this is a wonderful school please don't take this school from our Children they feel at home here and most of them have been there their whole life. Please save this school

Cordia School is very important to this community. The building is newer than most other schools in the area and I really don’t think there is a legitimate reason to close it. Keep Cordia Open!

This school has become my home and it has helped me through a lot. If the school wasn't stable then why do we still go there I could understand if the board was loosing money from the damage but The community will raise enough money to fix the issues. Knott county board wants to get rid of cordia because they know they don't control everything and we are a threat !! Cordia is My home and always will be !!

My children are students at Cordia. To make them bus all the way to Emmalena or Carr Creek is unimaginable. For some of these children that puts them at least an hour on a bus to school. This is ridiculous when our children dont even have access to the areas in question. They are in no immediate danger and to cause such an inconvenience to this small community is shameful at best. Many of these children have attended this school because they do not flourish and thrive in a larger school setting and its an injustice to them to be unnecessarily subjected to a situation where they will surely fail.
