I already wrote and advised the commissioner to close the county before covid 19 does enter our county. He read it and I'll bet now he wishes he took my advice.

Its better to be safe than sorry. Sure it's a pain but I would rather stay in now than open up and have the virus hit us hard a month or two later and have to shut down again. Just seems like the smartest thing to do

we don't have any local testing or capacity for coronavirus patients should tourists bring it to our e should wait community. We should wait longer before opening the Bandon area up again. The decision to open should be based on science not greed.

Please keep short-term rentals closed. Also, enforce the closure. Where I live in Sunset City south of Bandon, the vacation rentals have cars in the driveways, many with out-of-state plates.

As of now opening coos county is way to soon we have people running around that have it and know one is being told. Keep coos county closed.

I see the arguement on both sides, how ever it is unfair to put first responders, nurse, and doctors life in jeopardy just because Karen needs to go to the beauty palar.

While so would love to see things open up again and life return to some semblance of normal I believe that it is too soon to start the process. What happened at Shutters is a prime example of how easily covid is spread. 1 person transfered in. They found out his pre-transfer test came back positive and transfered him back out... Now 18 more people we know of have it because of 1 person. One of those people for certain being an employee that was going home and into public areas not knowing they were infected. It is just a matter of time before more people go get tested and are confirmed infected... And those people are currently spreading it without knowing they have it.
Add in tourists coming in and out that could bring more of it here or share it to other areas from contracting it here and the pandemic in county, state and country grows.
People need to continue to stay home and stay safe.

You should not open it up, until we find out how many new cases we have. We are up 1300% since last week. They should not be considered too soon.

Although our cases are low, we do not want people coming in from other counties or states who we do not know are carrying the virus.

Please take in to consider other impact of how fast we will be over run by tourists which in turn could bring in so many more cases hurting our locals. Please do not open things so quickly without more guidelines.
