As a small business owner that has been unable to be open and been in quarantine for 6 weeks I am going to feel all I have sacrificed in near to homeless financial devastation has been for nothing. With the Shutter Creek incident just getting started and opening these businesses back up will only bring more cases to our area. I find any life lost over money is incredibly greedy and soulless

We need to stay in place with the very recent infected staff member and released in mates within our community. It is not safe to reopen now. We need to stay safe.

We just recently have had the virus come to our county. It would be a big mistake to open it up right now.

We have not even seen the repercussions of this virus yet in our county. But I am in fear that we are going to here very shortly. As someone who is a extreme high risk, I value my life and fear to die this way. I wear masks in pu lic and am constantly sanitizing. But the attitudes of many more in this county is very immature, selfish, and disgusting to say the least. And I feel that if I am put at risk cause of others ignorance, I will find an attorney to file a class action lawsuit against the County Commissionera and hold them accountable.

It would be a foolhardy act to do anything that would promote tourism or lessen restrictions for safety in Coos County during this hazardous time. In fact, everyone should be wearing masks in sites that remain open as essential services.

County parks should be open to locals. It makes no sense that the beach is ours, but we can't have access to it. I agree with motels, tourist-based businesses remaining closed.

Oregon does not need to open quite yet. Rural Counties are continuing to see significant increases. For example, last week, Umatilla County was at 5 cases. As of yesterday, they are at 32. Stay home and stay safe. From a retired nurse.

We are just now seeing a spike in COVID-19 cases in our area, to reopen anything would be completely irresponsible on our commissioners part. Dont be stupid!

I personally feel since we just got our first 8 cases there is no way it isn’t going to spread more and we should wait longer.
