PLEASE keep our county closed for now. We now know that there is a confirmed case in Coos Bay as of today. She is a guard at Shutters Creek and was out in the community at least a week or two prior to getting symotoms.

Please do not open up the county yet! This is a foolish and dangerous decision. Covid-19 has not yet peaked in Oregon. Don’t endanger the common workers!

The only science based decision would be to remain closed. We're almost out of the woods here, let's not blow it.

I support my wife's business to stay closed until it is safe. Is it? Recent cases and yet we are going to open? No

We just got our first community positive. I think extending until mid May when our peak is projected is the best option.

I am a server in bandon. It is terrifying to think of folks coming here from everywhere right now. It seems like the cases in coos county are just starting to take off. This seems too soon. Really makes zero sense right now.

There are too many elderly people living in Bandon to risk an outbreak here. It's finally in the community. We don't need an explosion of it.

Please do not open Coos County, we need to be safe, as safe as we can be here in this area. Scary enough going shopping without tourists from all over here at our beaches, our stores.

even though THE ONLY cases of pos COVID19 are in a jail (a transfer started this from a different county)
We still cannot get tested "unless showing signs"
More tests such as Antibody testing NEEDS to be done. I feel Coos County is the last on the list for Our Govenor, and representatives to listen to, so why open? We are not metropolitan like PDX, we havent even seen a growth outside of a xlosed correction facility, yet very few testing AVAILABILITY.
Test us. Trace us FIRST.

Opening now is way to early! Our cases here in Coos County are just beginning to ramp up. We haven't even come close to peaking. Opening now will spread it faster and more people will die. We will overwhelm our small local hospital system. Do not open! Save lives!

Until there is testing available for all of Coos County with Tracking Teams in place. Coos County Commissioners should have actively sought PPE for all Coos Bay hospitals, clinics, Retirement /Rest Home Residences. The commissioners should have previously sourced and provided residents with face masks at cost or free.
Why has the decision to “open” Coos County NOT been in concert with a State plan and the tri State agreement conveyed in the media.
I absolutely resent and am opposed to the re-open consent orders of both Coos County Commissioners and the Bandon City Council. My opposition to this absolutely dangerous, life threatening decision will be reflected on the ballot of the next local elections.
