Main reason for building where we did was because my 3 kids could get to school safely via Paul Renaud. Paul Renaud allows my 3 kids to safely walk, ride bike or drive from my driveway to the school parking lot all without ever leaving neighborhood roads.

My daughter Emerson attends Prairie View Elementary and during her first year of Kindergarten she was given an IEP due to her overwhelming anxiety, ADHD, and sensory processing disorder. A change like this would be detrimental to her educational growth and I specifically selected Shady Creek to build my home so we would be close to Discovery Ridge, Frontier Middle, and Liberty High School. I was frustrated when I found out I would be driving past Discovery Ridge everyday to take Emerson to school at Prairie View. Now that she is settled in Elementary School I would like for her to stay in our current boundaries. I agree with everything in this petition and support it 1000%.

Please don’t make our kids go through several school changes. We picked Shady Creek based on Liberty and Frontier Middle. We also had to send a letter to the superintendent to avoid our son having to switch mid kindergarten as we were building.

Please keep us at Liberty. Our kids can walk there and it is even much easier for us to think of them driving or riding a bike down Paul Renaud vs. driving down hwy N. We love the community and built our home first in PW and now Shady Creek because of Liberty.

We built our home in Shady Creek because we wanted our children to attend Frontier Middle School and LibertyHigh School. Our children can walk to Liberty from our home, and it only makes sense that they attend Liberty.

Re-zoning liberty for our community is an absolute ridiculous idea.. We are walking distance from the school and the road we live on goes right to it..
