We are petitioning Texhoma ISD to keep Coach Marshall as the girls head basketball coach and Tech teacher for Texhoma High School.

Coach Marshall takes a personal interest in each athlete and has invested herself in improving each girl no matter what their age. She instructs the athlete on and off the court. She has held our girls to a higher standard of character, behavior and a team as a whole. Our girls need a coach like Coach Marshall to build up the girls' basketball program starting with the young girls in Texhoma. If we want a good program it has to begin at a young age. Coach Marshall has showed her willingness and desire to do this.

Coach Marshall goes above and beyond the school hours for any girl who shows an interest in learning. Not only is she a dedicated coach, but she is a dedicated teacher who encourages the kids to learn. While she is receiving some criticism, there are many who do support her and want to vocalize their support through this petition.

Right now as our world is steeped in so much chaos, our girls need to know that their school, their athletic program and their coach is a stable place they can count on and look to in this time. We are petitioning the school board and administration to allow Coach Marshall to continue as the girls head coach for the 2020-2021 school year.

Audrey is a local to this area. I know from being in sports with her in school she is dedicated and determined to be the best. She will help these girls be their best. Texhoma deserves a coach who takes each individual student’s interest into consideration when coaching and teaching! Keep Audrey!!

I know Coach Marshall from the Y, and I have seen nothing but professionalism as a community leader and encouragement as a youth leader. I can’t imagine why she would need to go after only one year in her position. I believe Coach Marshall has the potential to be an amazing, long-term asset to the Texhoma Public School’s athletics program.

I’ve known Coach Marshall since she was a high school player. Her drive and competitive spirit are unmatched. She is exactly the kind of coach young women today need to be pushed to excellence. The amount of time she is willing to put in after hours says so much about her passion for and commitment to students. I can’t imagine finding a better coach and role model for your students.

Great person! She truly cares about all the kids, not just her teams. She went above and beyond making sure we had what we needed for the 3/4 grade basketball kids. She deserves better from our community.

I have a kid who finally decided to continue playing basketball through Highschool once Marshall started coaching. She pushed them and made them all have the same Respect on and off the court.

Thanks to the people that backed my daughter. I told her when she was offered the coaching job in Texhoma that it was going to be an up hill battle. Small town politics / mentality.

What a joke! She was absolutely detrimental to the high school girls basketball team. She may be a good person but a terrible coach!
