I'm extremely concerned about air pollution, it's at illegal levels across London. We need drastic action to reduce the amount of traffic in the city. I agree the public have the right to be informed about air pollution.

Per your interview to Sadiq on Time Out London last week, this petition is dead in the water. TfL (or Sadiq) can't do anything about this, we need the law on idling changed. I would support a petition in *that* direction. Try 38 degrees. Thanks.

Trucks, and mini cabs just sit outside my home all day idling. They are not given a parking ticket. I ask Islington paring wardens why? They say if their engine is running they have been told not to give a fine. Surely it should be the other way around?

Please include the local NO2 concentration on the "time to next bus" display at bus stops - using the LAQI model as data source and presenting the concentrations in red, Orange or Green depending on whether >40, 30-40 or <30 micrograms per cubic metre respectively.

Yes definitely. How about having keep clear markers right the way in front of schools, like you do in front of fire stations:?

This is a great idea, but it should g deaper, we should convince people not to take there car into the city, make more an saver bike lanes, show car driver that the street is not only for them. Now one needs to drive an SUV, this drivers harm us all and they do not care. Most of the driver leave the motor running while stoppig for minutes, all this msut chance and I am happy to campain for it!

Cars are bad for the environment and bad for our health, killing tens of thousands of people a year, often in horrific ways, but mostly silently through air pollution, which has been linked to 40,000 a year. Cars are undoubtedly useful but for urban mass-transportation they are a total failure, and an expensive one. Giving us asthma when we are young and dementia when we are old and for what? They are often the slowest way to travel in an urban area and overall they are a drain on society, on families and on individuals. It's time we invest heavily in providing people with clean, cheap and healthy choices for the 21st century starting with exclusion zones.

Air pollution is a serious issue, which the Government has continually failed to address, to the detriment of the health of city dwellers.

TfL should display the NO2 and PM2.5 concentrations locally to bus stops on the stops' "time to next bus" display.

Thanks for considering this petition! The aim is to reduce children's exposure to London's air pollution that can gravely affect their health.
