Majority of our program gas been online. Why put us through more changes? I find it highly unprofessional and uncaring about students to keep changing their learning environments. Though this whole program Chamberlain has only done what is in their own best interest and not of their students. I understand a pandemic has occurred and that was out of everyone’s control, but this is in control of Chamberlain staff. This cohort has been through many of chamberlains changes. We have one more semester left. Why bring us back now?

Classes should be online because many of the students have other responsibilities and some have kids and family members to take care of. It is really convenient for students and plus some students live miles away from the school and learning online is nothing different from learning in person.

Keeping classes online will be beneficial to each individual for their own personal reasons, but it is has been something we adjusted to with our studies. As nurses we are suppose to be flexible but in the same sense we are also nursing students who have struggled hard with personal interferences, professional interferences and educational interferences during this pandemic. COVID has changed lives drastically but right now we as students are thriving, we should remain virtual for lecture so that we are able to continue thriving throughout the remainder of the program. Not to mention I have two young children at home one who has severe asthma and another who hasn’t seen a day in daycare since she was born. She was sick with COVID at 4 months and my son was sick with COVID this past Christmas, the less I have to expose them until an FDA approved vaccine and actual public plan is in place, the better.

After everything we have been through throughout this pandemic, with the rise in cases we, as future nurses are thankful to work in the hospitals. But, are strongly for keeping lectures online to keep standards of exposures as low as possible for the benefits of us, our families and our patients who we care for.

Keep classes online as lecture being online saves money, gas, and is easier for us to handle our personal lives with kids and families also at home right now. You’re learning the same material as in person but over the computer. All hands on stuff is on campus which is the necessary part, lecture should stay online.
