My son is in one of these classes and 22 kids is way too many for a 3rd grade room. They need the individual attention to really learn and thrive. Don't take this away from them.

Ridiculous that we are even debating this. Keep the class sizes manageable. Small classes are the only reason we moved to this town.

I am a Tewksbury resident and former teacher. I am appalled by the idea a third graders class having over twenty students. This is unacceptable. A school is nothing without its teachers, and this is why good teachers are leaving schools by the droves. And it’s the children who suffer because of it.

Please keep class sizes small. People pay a hefty tax bill to live in this district, and the quality of the education received should reflect that.

Class sizes need to remain as they were to insure the excellence of teaching that is the foundation of the school district’s outstanding reputation. Discussion needs to take place and be transparent regarding other cost- cutting avenues that are available.
