Either the Glencoe government is anti business, or someone within was denied a bribe.

I haven't had a chance to try Cibo yet, but on principle alone I support this grass roots effort to give a new, promising business a chance!

We are Glencoe residents and have been several times. Always had a wonderful experience. We've told many friends who have come from surrounding communities to dine in Glencoe. Professional owners and staff. Absolutely ridiculous how my village has treated this group... Embarrassing.

As a North Shore native I'm increasingly disillusioned with our local gov'ts. These used to be thriving small business communities. No wonder towns like Hinsdale or Elmhurst are usurping the NS - just look at their business districts compared to ours - not a For Rent sign to be seen! Small business creates economy.

Can we stop making it so hard for businesses other than nail salons, banks, dry cleaners and fitness centers to survive in our town????? Jeez..... Give this restaurant a fighting chance for gosh sakes!

I am astounded that the Glencoe Village Board does not work hand in hand to assure that Cibo is a success. I have lived here for 15 years and have always lamented the shortage of restaurants. Now that we have one it seems that the Village is doing everything to see it fail and have yet another nail salon in its place. My bigger question to the the Board is are they so hung up on policy that they would let this establishment fail? Terrible.

This town needs more quality restaurants like Cibo. Myself and many other people who frequent Glencoe would be very disappointed if they close their doors.
