It’s beneficial for students, parents, our community and for the whole Utah state.

I took Ms. Luo’s Chinese class my first year at West in 2009 and had such a great time. A lot of good memories. I, like everyone that has gone to West since then, whether they did or did not take Chinese, want this program to remain intact. Please allow for this program to continue, it has meant so much to so many of us and we would like for it to continue to have an impact on future West High students. We love Ms. Luo, and we love the Chinese language and the opportunity it brings. Thank you.

Chinese is one of the most important language. Young kids need this to open their minds. Please keep it.

As an alum of the West High Chinese program ('12), I use Chinese daily in my current job as the Assistant Director of Adult Literacy at the Chinese-American Planning Council. Learning Chinese at West influenced my life greatly, and gave me the wonderful career in adult ESOL education I have today.

My daughter is taking Miss Lou's Chinese class this year and is planning to take it next year. It has provided her with a unique learning experience with a wonderful king community that will continue beyond high school.
