We just bought a home January 2016 in the West Ada School district, choosing that area over Boise schools because it had a Mandarin program. Please help us not regret that decision...

The kids really enjoy learning mandarin! We have one school in Treasure Valley teaching mandarin. Foreign language helps us to connect with people! Please support Immersion Program!

We have been so happy with our first grader's success with the Chinese program at Gateway that we recently moved into the school boundaries so that our upcoming Kindergartner could be involved too. We were devestated to hear that it will no longer be continued, and we feel jipped because we just bought our house two months ago! Please keep this program going. It is such an asset to our community.

This is the only Chinese program in the state, and an excellent program at that. This needs to be made a priority. I, and many others I speak to fully support this program. When I speak to others who are not affiliated with Gateway about the immersion program they think it's an amazing opportunity for children, but have never heard of it. I don't know how many times I've heard, "If I would've known about it I would've sent my children in a heartbeat." We need to get the word out there! Please keep this going.

The Chinese program at Gateway means so much to so many kids. The program has been very beneficial to our community as well as our children's education. To see it go away is devastating. Let’s make our education a priority in Idaho and not a business decision. It should be the districts priority to make the program succeed rather than fail as it will set the tone for future programs to come.

This is the only secondary language program in the West Ada District and the only Chinese Program in the State. The importance of this program can not be understated and under supported!
