The Baton Rouge campus has done nothing but grow and improve under the leadership of Chancellor Llorens and thus it is in our best interest to keep his leadership in place through this transition to superior excellence.

Dr. Mason and the supporting SU B.O.S. members need to present a clear case that Chancellor Llorens was not effectively managing the affairs of the Baton Rouge campus. Otherwise this "dismissal" appears to be suspect at best and reeks of "business as usual" at Southern University.

From what i can see, Mr. Liorens has done a wonderful for the school and deserves a better deal than is currently offered to him. It appears that the honorable Dr. Ronald Mason has an agenda and that agenda doesn't appear to be anything in Southern University best interest.

I'm an alumni of SUBR and through keeping up with what is going on at SUBR, Chancellor Llorens has done more for Southern University than any other Chancellor has while I was there from 2006-2011.

Don't get of rid of the chancellor who has embraced our university with class and dignity but future plans and goals if seeing us all succeed with future higher endeavors! He has only been in iffice for a few years and has done plenty for the university! He takes pride in his work and he should stay because he is helping us make our university better!

To the Board of Directors and President Mason, Listen to your student, Faculty, and Alumni in making your decisions and you can't go wrong. By listening to others you can! Work with the people you are supposed to lead, they really do know the way! Keep Chancellor Llorens!

Chancellor Llorens has worked to sustain and reinvigorate a great university during a period of great instability. It's disappointing that the Board of Supervisors seek to change that.
