Chancellor Llorens needs to stay I support the progress that is being made at the university. I have seen growth from registration, to financial aid, and the physical appearance of the college. My daughter attends Southern and that was her first and only choice. Keep Chancellor Llorens.

I support the undergraduates at Southern. If they feel as if he's making advances at the Institution...I'm all for it.

I support Dr. Llorens remaining the Chancellor of our beloved institution. He has brought a level of stability that we have not seen in years!

I am extremely disappointed with the possible loss of a man who has completely turned the campus around. The transparency, honesty, forthcoming, and concern that Dr. Llorens demonstrates has not been exercised in many MANY years. Dr. Llorens even takes the time out to make his presence on camous known. A true leader will never lead from his office and embodies leadership. The negativity that once surrounded the university is slowly but surely fading. Simple things to the general public, but major to the student body have changed because of our Chancellor. Things like the registration process, the financial aid office, activities, and just simply knowing where our money is going. The internal politics are going destroy a historic university!!

I am disappointed with the decision. Dr.Lloren has worked very hard to help turn the school around, and he is doing a excellent job. We do not want to hand the school over to people that do not have SU as a priority. We have to reinstate Dr. Lloren.

Dr. Llorens is doing a great job despite the numerous obstacles he faces and SU is coming on strong. Why does the Board want to halt progress and stymie the growth that is taking place?

As a graduate of the New Orleans campus, I believe the Southern System finally has a team of Chancellors that are committed and working for the betterment of the entire system and their individual campuses. Don't mess up a good thing! If you really want to improve the system, the person the board should fire is President Ronald Mason!
