Chancellor Llorens has been an exceptional man. In my travels to SUBR x2 for homecoming 2011 & 2013 he and his wife were great hosts. As a graduate and parent of the reigning Miss SU I could not ask for a better representative of our flagship univetsity.

I personally know Dr. Llorens and have worked with him during my freshman year. I must say that he really looks out for the students and will do what it takes to move this University forward. I am all for keeping him here.

Dr. Llorens has a genuine love for SouthernU and is the reason why it is becoming the great university it was destined to be. When SouthernU was going through a tough period, who wanted to be chancellor? No one! Now that SouthernU is improving and gaining notoriety, others want to reap the benefits. I say vote to keep Llorens!

Dr Llorens was just what Southern University needed! He stepped in and stepped up! The campus is alive again and he's the reason! He's a blessing to southern University. _His contract needs to be renewed!!!!

They showed lots of support for athletics and they spoke with their student body up close and personal... They had a great relationship with the students of SU

As an alumnus of this institution (BA & MA) I can honestly say that this is disheartening. Dr. Llorens and his wife have been nothing but supportive of the student body. He has been the most visible and active involved administrator that I have witnessed since Dr. Jackson's tenure. I pray that the board of supervisors looks beyond the politics and listens to the concerns of the students and alumni of this university!
