Had him as a Instructor in Grad School. I know what he brings to the table. Truly a professional and an icon on the campus. We can't afford to lose him.
How in the world does SU lose theirs Chancellor? He is the best our the 5 campuses.

He is a great man he always comes out and support, us and sometimes he bring his wafe. He is involved with the student, and the military i do not see why you want renew his contract. We need to keep the people who is try to change the future, and make us better citizens

Wow! this petition is wonderful! As many will see by this, Dr. Llorens is well-known, well-respected, and LOVED by the student body! Taking him away is like ripping the heart out of SU. Dr. Llorens and Mrs. Llorens are ssssoooo supportive of the university. They would do whatever they needed to do for the student body! They welcome you ALWAYS with open arms, wholeheartedly. There was NOT a day that went by when I saw them, and spoke, their faces wouldn't light up & they wouldn't hug me! That's goes for any student though, they treat us as if we are their own. What schools do you know have something so genuine??!! I just know that if he will not be with us anymore SU most definitely will NOT be the same. #keepLlorens #TEAMSU

Chancellor Llorens is the reason I chose to attend Southern University . I pray we make a huge stand and have a great man who's for many of the student body a mentor , friend , and role model to return to a university that has changed for good tremendously! #fightforwhatsright #teamsu

This man has did so much for Southern University and has also gave back. This is trully sad news to hear. Taking this man away from SU will bring tremendous sorrow. Do the right thing and keep him! Renew his contract!
