Chancellor Llorens is a great man and leader who has done nothing but express his love for this institution. I would hope that the voice of the students will be heard to keep OUR Chancellor!

Dr. Lorens was moving things in the right direction. Give him a chance! When Mason became president, JSU alums said there may be days like this. Now I see what they meant!

I have seen the changes in the University since Dr Lorens has been Chancellor. I can't understand why the board would get rid of someone who has gotten Southern University moving in a positive direction again. It was totally a surprise hearing that the board voted not to keep Dr Lorens. What was this decision based upon? We deserve to Know!

Dr. James Llorens is a man of integrity and we were blessed and very pleased to have him as Chancellor of Southern. I am proud of him for taking a stand against the act of totalitarianism by President Mason. I am extremely disappointed in the decision of the nine SU Board of Supervisors who did not care enough about Southern University to support him.

I have been a SU Alum for the past 4 years and although I have not been on campus daily I see the change Dr. Llorens has made! I see the progress at SUBR and I want to continue to see improvement and I know Dr. Llorens is the person to do it!

As an alumnus of Thee Southern University and A&M College, I can't express enough my disappointment when I learned the board's decision to dismiss Chancellor Llorens. The cronyism and backdoor decisions of the SU board continues to baffle me and questions their ability to put students first. Chancellor Llorens is SU and embodies the SU spirit that so many share.

Chancellor Llorens is who we need! I would have not agreed to what was proposed for his new contract! Clear this issue up now! As we said back in the late 70's, "Ban the Master Plan!"

Who has ever heard of a Chancellor rolling up his sleeves and taking care of our students; listening to everyone whether you had money or not? It's time for us to have and keep a good chancellor. This needs to be cleared/cleaned up NOW!!

Chancellor Llorens is the best for the job very active among the student even more so than me & I'm a student ! He helps everyone individually and has supported all organizations throughout the campus. He can not be replaced.
