The best security gaurd while I was in high school, he cares so much about the students and their well being and always telling us to stay focused.

Los has had a positive impact on my life. It is rare to find a person who is passionate about this job and the social connections made through the job. He is a great security guard, a great person, and it would be a shame to see him go.

Been 7 years since I was at Segerstrom, and 3 weeks ago I saw Carlos by my work in DTSA and he still remembered my name. Segerstrom needs Carlos, any school would be in luck to have someone that is as passionate about his job and community like Los. It's evident the relationships Los has built and the impact he has had in the lives of many at Segerstrom, with the bad rep there's been from staff in recent years keeping the best shouldn't be in question. Keep Los at Segerstrom, it's in the school's best interest.

That's a really good dude right there. Always looked out and made sure I was on top of my studies and doing what needs to be done when it came to sports. For someone to know me by name and root for me on the sideline at all my games, its a blessing. Its small things like that that helped me graduate. He's apart of our Segerstrom family. Los is a great asset to Segerstrom and losing him will have a major affects on the campus. He's not just a security guard but a helping hand in any campus activity, a great role model to the kids and a friendly face that kids could talk to and trust. Reconsideration should be made to bring him back.

Carlos has been a longstanding member of the community and has created relationships with many of the students that will last a lifetime. Transferring him to another school will be detrimental to the parents, students and staff. A student who lacks social relationships are more likely to drop out of school. The most effective way to prevent this is by ensuring that the child is able to cope. It starts with individuals like Carlos working on the front lines. Always having a friendly smile, a person to go to when times get too tough or challenging. A school is based upon its community, the community is made up of its members and together they commit to the common goal to succeed. In order to do this it takes true commitment and drive and these traits all are within Carlos! He truly embodies the mission and values that the school was founded upon and is an invaluable member to us all!

Los is such an amazing person and has a very lee impact at Segerstrom High School. He doesn't just do his job being a security guard, he helps students and let's students feel welcomed and confident in themselves to be able to keep up with their classes. He not only cares about students and their well being but he also cares about the students feelings and if they are struggling through obstacles in their life and need someone to talk to, Los is that type of person to do so. Transferring him to a different school will impact many students.
