He has protected our school and has always had the best interest of our students. My daughter has felt safe with him at the security guard. This would be a huge loss at our school!!

A huge part of the safety unit at Segerstrom is Juan Carlos Quezada, or Los, as he is called be parents and students. Carlos has been at Segerstrom almost a decade and in that time he has become and integral piece of the Jaguar campus and the Jaguar family. He exhibits patience, respect and legitimately cares about the work he does for the kids and the community. He is the biggest supporter of these kids and many confide in him as if he were a counselor. He may be a security guard but if you ask any student who has attended Segerstrom, he is much more. He is an ear and a shoulder when needed, a member of the community, born and raised within a 3 minute car ride of the campus, so he understands the pitfalls that await our children and without hesitation, with the right words, he can easily help our children avoid those pitfalls. To be honest, he is that person that students can talk to, when they feel too scared to go to a parent or a counselor, oftentimes being the bridge between students and parents or between students and faculty. I feel it would be a huge detriment to student morale and the overall morale of the campus if Carlos is reassigned. It should be evident by this petition how loved and respected he is by the Jaguar community. Amazing to me how a security guard can have such a lasting, positive influence on so many people, but such is Los. He is truly a one of a kind person, with a huge heart and I pray that he will be allowed to continue to be a pillar on the Segerstrom campus.

Man where can I start with LOS! I knew him before I even went to segerstrom involved with sports he knew me as aswell. Since the first day he has always been the nicest caring guy he has a big heart to everyone he cares about and that's a lot of people. From on campus to seeing him after school. Always treated Carlos with 100% respect because he is simply the Man!

When my phone was stolen, Los was the only one to help take action and try to help me get it back. He succeeded and I'm forever grateful. he's all around good guy who wants the best for the students keep him at sega plz !!!

Carlso is well respected by his peers, students and their parents. Removing DSO Quezada would be a detriment to the schools security and overall lower the schools morale. As a former staff of the Segerstrom family this transfer would be a loss to this community and goes against the district motto of building relationships with the school and community. Keep Carlos at Segerstrom .
