I have officially delivered the initial list of signatures to the offices of several key TDs this morning. They have confirmed receipt and are currently reviewing the documentation I provided regarding the separation of ecclesiastical influence from legislative policy.

Keep the church out of our laws. Ireland has moved on and we need proper healthcare for women now.
Separation of church and state should actually mean something. Sick of him acting like he runs the country.
The hypocrisy is unbelievable. He needs to worry about his own house and leave the laws to the people we actually elected.
Stop trying to control us. It is 2013 not 1950. Let the doctors do their work.
About time we listened to women instead of bishops. This law is long overdue.

The threats about excommunication are just gross. Nobody should be bullied by a religious leader for doing their job in the Dáil.
