Bulldog hour is what gets everything that gets you caught back up. Being forced to stay in the same room for 50 minutes, and that 50 minute includes the passing period, so about 40 minutes of bulldog hour. Now me and 30 other people are stuck in this class for the rest of the bulldog hour, now forcing us to be able to do nothing because the teacher is stuck helping 1 person out of the 30 other people! Can the district tell me why I can't move classes, so I can get help from another one of my teachers? Can you tell me why you can't go to the lunch room during the "40" minutes we have to sit in the same room, unable to get help because it's packed?
Thanks for making bulldog hour better, because now I can get help from all my teachers in the "40" minutes receiving no help from any teachers! None!

In all seriousness, it's not even 40 min long. Since our 5 minute passing periods are INCLUDED in the 40 minutes (which, by the way, why are the passing periods 2 minutes shorter than normal...?), in actuality we only have 30 minutes to work in this Bulldog Half Hour and then 10 minutes to get from class to class (5 for going to a class for Bulldog Half Hour, then 5 to get to the next class; if you're all the way on the other side of the school, well, sorry. You have 2 minutes less to be on time to your next class. But no, "we're trying our hardest to benefit you by shortening Bulldog Hour and your passing periods!!" my teacher says. Heh. Yeah right).
What's the point of penalizing the majority for the actions of a few?

I want it at an hour again! I usually meet with more than one teacher or talk to teachers for extra curricular activities (such as the WYSE competition, or for writing advice for competitions/festivals) and having only half an hour isn't enough time to do that. Also a lot of clubs and activities happen on Wednesday, which means I have to choose between homework and extra curricular (both of which colleges want) so Bulldog HOUR lends itself great to having time for both.

This is more like Bulldog "half" hour. What if you need to see multiple teachers? WHat if you need to retake a test, but after school activities deny you from taking it after school? What if I'm having a lot of difficulties in multiple classes? This new schedule doesn't help at all with that. There needs to be more time than just 30 mins. Some students don't need that much time, but a lot of students need the full hour.

Bulldog hour should be an hour long. Even if students aren't using the hour to get help, that's their choice and you should respect that and let them take the consequence without holding your hand all the time.

I really wish that we had a full hour I was rushing around, and being rushed to classes to find a place to stop and think. I couldn't get help from another teacher (which I desperately needed ) because I was told to get into a classroom rather than get help to improve my grades in that class. I may live close to the school but I don't always have the chance to come to school early or stay after because of personal reasons. Bringing Bulldog Hour back to the way it was would be beneficial for everyone.
I don't like how I can't see multiple teachers.
