My daughter uses Bruin block to work on projects with other students and to get help from teachers when she needs it. It has been a huge help for her to maintain a high GPA

My son will be in 10th grade next year and said that Bruin Block is very helpful. He works on homework and gets help from teachers if needed!

My student athlete with a part time job uses every second of Bruin block for homework. She’s have to quit her job if she didn’t have that time.

Bruin Block is an important part of the students academic day allowing for both academic engagement with teachers and time with friends both of which promote student wellness. As a substitute I have seen this system is not unique to BHS and is widely popular among staff, students, and parents in the county. I encourage you to keep Bruin Block which is working for your academically minded students.

Opportunity to not only complete homework, participate in clubs and sports, but most important...an opportunity to build relationships with their peers and their teachers. Isn’t this the mission of the county? Room 203!

As a former Bruins parent and friend of other Bruin graduates -- please take your students' word for what they need! Broadneck is a great school -- and a strong community.
