Not gritting the roads will cause dangerous conditons and leave hundreds of people isolated.

The council's website states that "The Priority 2 routes cover ... main routes to less populated areas." However their plans leave some villages in Bradfield Parish miles from the nearest gritted road.

Another great idea from Sheffield City Council.....NOT!!!
Even when gritted the roads around Bradfield can be treacherous. This proposal is madness. Roads such as Spout Hill and Long Lane keep traffic away from the Malin Bridge bottle-neck. The gyratory system at Malin Bridge is already ill-equipped to cope with the volume of traffic at peak times and this is exacerbated by the seemingly permanent parking of the Super Tram Link bus on it. Extra traffic trying to use this route on snowy/icy days doesn't bear thinking about. Throw in the crazy single track bridge at the bottom of Hollins Lane and you have the complete recipe for traffic chaos.

This is a false economy. It will cause accidents and result in many lost buisness hours.

We need safe roads to supply milk all across Sheffield, if we can't almost 100 shops loose trade & that affects Sheffield economy.
