I agree on this and I hope the goal is reached!

This is a breach of privacy and increasing censorship. This is also dangerous to people in the LGBT+ community, who could be thrown out of their house, abused, or shunned from their family.

So many people can get hurt by the use of Securly... I don't want my friends with already harsh parents to come down even harder on them, even when they don't deserve it.

This is equally dangerous to LGBT+ youth who may live in a household hostile to their cause and would therefore because a breach in the child's safety.

I couldn't agree more. I don't want my mom knowing about who I am just yet, so this would make my life a lot easier!

I completely agree with this. As a member of the LBGTQ+ community, I would hate to have information like that shared, especially because of experiences I've had with this subject in the past. I think the school monitoring is more than enough.

It's one thing if they only kept the information to themselves. But sending history to parents? It only worsens the risk of students in toxic/abusive households and causes more risk to a mental health decline. I proudly stand against this new policy not only for myself, but for my fellow peers in my school and throughout the entire district.

The school district is allowed to compile the search history of the chrome books. They own them, its fine. But parents have no right being able to see what the student has done without their consent.

Maybe the danger doesn't seem that big to me, but I can tell you won't stop until this is passed. So I will give you a signature.

This truly is a concern of mine due to the fact that I know many other students that use their chromebook for LGBT+ but have not come out of the closet to not only a lot of their peers but their family, and if their family were to find out the consequences would be severe.

I agree. Monitoring the BLHS computers can and probably will be very dangerous to LGBT+ students in the GSA club held at BLHS. You made this club so that others could find others and talk to people. Now you want to out us out and put us in dangerous situations?

This is a major invasion of privacy.

This is an invasion of privacy and is unnecessary.
