Scots have been eating black pudding for longer than they've known of the existance of black people on the planet. Has anyone ever asked a black person if he/she is offened by 'black pudding'? I very much doubt so. The only offence which could possibly be caused, would be to assume that black people are so ignorant, that this political madness could offend them.

i personally don't eat Black pudding but i don't see why it should be changed it aint offensive it's getting bloody petty now :( it's like then changing you from being able to sing Baa baa black sheep anymore ainstead they wanted you to sing baa baa rainbow sheep !!! get a grip people when have u seen rainbow coloured sheep in a field ? from when my grandson was born 7 yrs ago ive always sang baa baa black sheep to him, thats what he knows it as that what he sings because that is what it is :)

What a waste of anyone's time wanting to change the name. Before you know it we won't be able to call the colour black, black as that will be considered racist too. Political correctness gone totally bonkers. Get a grip and deal with bigger issues in the world
