The worlds gone absolutely mad. Apparently little thing is now racist and its getting beyond a joke. 'Black pudding' has been part of a traditional English breakfast for Centuries! Pathetic.

I have never ever connected black pudding to black people. This country has gone mad and these people who insist on changing harmless names of products are the ones throwing file on the fires of racism. I am a teacher and in my classroom I have a whiteboard. Was there any point of changing the name from a blackboard to a whiteboard? Is this not hit as racist, or does it not count when it's white?!

it has nothing to do with black people, it's the colour of pudding and all britons love it(most of them are white)

All I can say is "What has the world come to" totally shocking. I've moved to Australia for travelling and might stay here the way English politics are going.

Is the next intention then to re name the white pudding??? A racist remark is only that when it is accompanied with the intent to be racial including tone of voice aggression and directed at particular peoples/customs. This is an inanimate food product. You are now being silly by trying to re brand part of our culturul upbringing.

Guessing they won't ban "white pudding" though........get a grip. No longer a blackboard (but we have white boards now???) Totally ridiculous......I wouldn't even think about relating a breakfast piece or an educational drawing board to a person let alone think about it as racist. This country is a mess.....bother about things that matter....stop creating problems that aren't there.....
