Black Pudding is so called because of its colour, there is also white pudding available, should they try ban this also, because it is offensive to white people? Baa Baa Black Sheep? You now have to add Baa Baa white sheep. Next thing will be an amnesty on all Blackberry devices. I wouldn't be surprised if the actually word 'black' commonly used as a descriptive word, was outlawed altogether. What is the point of this? Imagine - Blue Eyed Peas, Pink Sabbath, 'it's pitch dark blue outside', 'little dark dress' .....oops, sorry, I used the word 'Dark'.

This is ridiculous!!! I have Ginger hair, I do not find Ginger Nut Biscuits offensive or Gingerist, so how on earth is Black Pudding racist or offensive? Grow up and stop taking everything to heart! Please keep the name as it is, we need to put a stop to this.

I have eaten black pudding since I was a child and never once thought of it being racist this just small minded people stirring the pot if there is a power cut we call it a blackout should we change that there's a program on tv called blacklist should that be cancelled because it has black in it I buy black jeans shirts socks under ware what should I ask for this is just stupid don't let these people get their way enough is enough

This is discriminating against us to be fair, this has been a favourite in Scotland for absolute Centuries and they're trying to ban it because it's racist? I am not one for racism but this is utterly pathetic. So they ban blackboards but keep whiteboards? So what's to say they're not now being racist against us!

I thought it was a traditional English breakfast dish, I did not know it was just for black people, or white people or pink people or brown people or are we all coloured people. Best be careful as there is always some "do good a" you will moan. Me and all my multi coloured friends will always eat black pudding

I am half black and half white...wait did I nearly just half offend myself, oh its too funny and btw from what I know many people of colour dont relishbthe thought of chewing on dried fried pigs blood, hmm does this mean I can call sausages "white mans pudding" ? looool!
