totally stupid, PC gone mad, i dont actually believe a survey has been done to ask Black people are they offended, just as there hasnt been a survey to see if white people are offended at white pudding , i enjoy both and have never thought it could ever be offensive

totally ridiculous why change things in our country for being racist. my husband is turkish i spent years in his country followed his culture and the way of his living and lifestyle so why change our culture and lifestyle if people dont like it go back ti their own country simple. im not racist as i say ive got a turkish husband and my sister is half pakistani so why should the uk change just to suit ppl coming into the country.makes me ashamed to be british and no wonder i dont vote labour

I don't understand how people can find this offensive. The pudding is called 'black pudding' due to its colour. If it was white in colour then it would be called 'white pudding'. I find it pathetic that some people actually feel the need to cause such controversy about the colour of certain things. It's like how we are no longer aloud to say blackboard, but there was never a discussion about a whiteboard being a racist comment. Racism doesn't come from things like that, it comes from small minded people who physically go out of their way to hurt someone, not because a product that has been around for years is named black because of its colour. Some people are actually ridiculous and I find this article absolutely shocking.

Black pudding is not racist, its has been the puddingd name for years and does not need changing now. If anything the racism is coming from the person who identified it as racist. As its the first thing they thought of when looking at this product. It has never entered my head, it is just a product i enjoy with an english breakfast!

If this is all they can do to get votes from the blacks, then they've stopped being a political party and have become racists themselves.
