This cross is historical and symbolic. Leave it up. How much will it cost to remove the cross because the minority dictates over the majority? #KeepBayviewPark

It is time to stop the atheists and foreigners from ruling what we Americans can or not do. It's fine to fly a foreign flag, but not allow a nearly 80 year old cross. Our country was founded on the idea fo free speech and Judeo/Christian values.

It's not a confederate flag, it's a symbol of Christ. Who is it hurting or bothering?

I am appalled that they want to remove this cross without any constitutional basis. This is a lovely cross that is there for 60 yrs. People visit the site with flowers at the cross to remember Memorial and Veterans day in honor of lost ones who sacrificed their lives. Please do not remove this cross.

I am a born and raised Pensacolian and at 44 yrs old I can honestly say that this cross has been in most of my childhood memories due to my family having regular picnics and reunions at Bayview Park as well as many school field trips being taken to the park and Summer Camp programs utilizing the park. This Cross has been in "its place" longer than I've been on this earth and it deeply saddens me to know that anyone would ever have an issue with "its place" after all of these years. This world we live in is becoming increasingly disappointing on a regular daily basis. Soon we will have nothing to believe in except for our Lord above and the family we're blessed with.

We who believes in God should have the right to display our Cross, this Cross has been here along time and means a lot to many people ,it needs to remain right where it is.
