Bank of America has announced branch closings all across the country, because online banking is more prevalent they say. I say, people still want to talk to a person face to face when transacting most banking needs. I would not borrow money for a new car without sitting down with a person. I think a lot of people still feel the same way I do.

The emails I receive from neighbors show how much stress this decision is causing for people who rely on local service. I am currently compiling these personal stories to submit to the regional office because they need to understand that this is not just about convenience for our town.

It would make it very inconvenient for me to have to travel 2 hours for banking transactions
This will put so many people out of work, and I personally am more comfortable sitting down when talking about my banking needs than listening to an automated system for hours on hold.
San Angelo needs a healthy banking community. Our citizens need options and competition among banks gives us all options.
People need to have someone they can speak with face to face for banking guidance. First line of brand and building loyalty. Somethings never change.
I strongly feel the San Angelo Bank of America locations should stay open we need a trustworthy and up to date technology bank and only Bank of America offers this to San Angelo not to mention the friendliness rapid customer service I know were probably just a small bump for such a major corporate bank but ya small towns value the business done with Bank of America
We will move all of our accounts firm BOA if they do really close both San Angelo locations.
Why are they closing both branches? Is BOA discriminating against women who run and work in both branches in San Angelo, Tx? I have been banking with BOA for over 22 years since I was stationed and have retired here from the military. I would prefer to keep one bank open because I would rather deal with a person face to face. I don't feel that I have to drive to Abilene, Tx which is almost 2 hours away if I have a problem in depositing checks if I cannot do it at an atm or anything else for that matter. I know there is a mobile app but I have run into problems using it. Bank of America you are making a huge mistake closing both branches. I don't feel you are helping our military branches stationed here at Goodfellow AFB who use your business. I personally do not want to change over to another bank because BOA does keep up with technology that is up to date. I am looking at other Banks in town to keep my options open. I implore you BOA to keep your banking personal and business in San Angelo.

If not keeping a branch at least keep an ATM so we won't leave your franchise that we have been with over 20 years
