As you may be aware, the school district is proposing that Bamber Valley Elementary be divided into two schools in the same building. 40% of the students would be part of a Core Knowledge Curriculum Choice School that requires students to enter a lottery to be included. The remaining students will be part of the neighborhood school.

Dividing Bamber causes many uncertainties and may have an effect on funding, boundaries and staffing.

We ask that you sign the petition to keep Bamber Elementary united as one neighborhood school.

By signing this petition you are not excluding Bamber Valley from becoming a neighborhood school that could offer Core Curriculum to all students. Rather, we are saying that we want all of our students to have the same opportunities.
