We mowed and maintained our sections in front of us and our 3 neighbours. Please help us make it green and beautiful again.

Keep our suburb green

We are residents of Austin Cove and would like to see our beautiful estate kept green & tidy.

Maintain as much green space for the welfare of all the residents especially our children

Do the right thing, please!

We need to keep some bush for the wild life. Plus it helps the environment

I agree the council should water the verges as it’s their realisability

I wish to be part of the petition to request the Shire of Murray to please continue to water the grass verge on Countess Circuit South Yunderup 6208

I live in south yunderup and always admire how lovely the parks are when i drive into Austin Lakes lets keep it that way

Please reinstate the retuculation on the verges along the footpaths. It makes our estate aesthetically pleasing and not look like some backward town. Many people bought in the estate because of the street appeal. We were never consulted and an autocratic decision was imposed upon the residents

I don’t live in Austin Cove but have friends that do and I think the shire should continue to water the areas along the wetlands to keep the aesthetics looking nice for the estate

As rate payers do we receive a reduction in our councel rates? I doubt it!! Is the decision to save on groundwater or to reduce man-hours on maintenance? With the grassed areas now dead and brown it is a visual eyesore. Amongst other negativities (e.g. fire hazard), the native birds can no longer forage around looking for grubs and insects which have disappeared as a result of no water. And, why only water the lawn at the "entrance" of Austin Cove. It looks appealing.....until you actually drive into the estate and see how unkempt the verges look. Our property prices will drop turning into "affordable housing" and everyone knows the outcome of that. Just look at the crime rate in those types of areas.

Terrible Murray shire, you promised to take over the estate from land developers and now you are devaluing our estate, but sky rocket rates. Shame on you.

This is disgusting that you expect residents to water YOUR verge that the council put in, we pay enough rates to cover the costs .
